Kristan Funeral Home, and especially Dan, handled one of the hardest and most complicated parts of losing my mom with real care and competence. She was on hospice, and we had been planning to move her back to Illinois and arrange a brain donation for FTD research. She passed before that move could happen. Dan stepped in immediately, coordinated the donation transport in Wisconsin, and found a local funeral home to handle the cremation prior to a transfer back to Illinois. He was responsive and almost always reachable by phone when we needed an answer.
We held the service with Kristan, and they made the rest of the process straightforward at a time when nothing felt simple. We would not hesitate to use them again and are grateful Dan went above and beyond for our family.

Words cannot express how thankful we are to the Kristan team for the compassion and care they showed our family during such a difficult time. Dan was incredibly thorough in explaining every detail and guided us through the entire process with patience and kindness. We met with him the same day my mom passed away, and my family and I had so many questions. He made us feel completely comfortable asking anything and never made us feel overwhelmed or rushed.
On the day of the service, the Kristan team was exceptionally accommodating, professional, and supportive. They took care of every detail, allowing us to focus on honoring my mom and being with our loved ones. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and meaningful service.
